Modular energy distribution systems for adverse conditions SNV 2.0
Outside of electrical workspaces or protected spaces, the switch cabinets must be able to withstand environmental influences, such as sun, UV rays, moisture, dust as well as mechanical strain. As a result, we have developed the modular energy distribution system SNV 2.0.
It consists of a sturdy sheet steel housing with a high grade powder finish of raw materials and is available in three sizes in the systematic 182.5 mm with the IP54 protection class. The wall mounting is implemented with fastening devices at the box bottom, that can be fitted in different ways as required.
The system is designed for a rated current of 800 A; installing operating elements or power outlets is achieved problem-free. Due to the easy case assembly, the distributor can also be expanded on-site.

Hard use in the Antarctic:
On the 13th of December 2011 assembled a staff of ESA Grimma GmbH an energy distribution type SNV 2.0 in the Antarctic. The grounding of the new Indian research station is connected in these distribution. ESA Grimma supplies switchgears for this station.
